श्रीकृष्ण मधुमोहन गोविंदलुरी ने क्लेम्सन विश्वविद्यालय, संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका से औद्योगिक इंजीनियरिंग एवं संचालन अनुसंधान के क्षेत्र में पीएच.डी. तथा राष्ट्रीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान (एनआईटी), नागपुर से एम.टेक. की उपाधि प्राप्त की है। उन्हें शिक्षण का 18 वर्षों से अधिक का अनुभव है। भारतीय प्रबंधन संस्थान तिरुचिरापल्ली में शामिल होने से पूर्व, वे सुल्तान क़ाबूस विश्वविद्यालय (ओमान), भारतीय प्रबंधन संस्थान इंदौर (भारत), रामापो कॉलेज ऑफ़ न्यू जर्सी (संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका) तथा जॉर्जिया सदर्न विश्वविद्यालय (संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका) में संकाय सदस्य के रूप में कार्य कर चुके हैं।
