डॉ. प्रियेश वी. पी. आईआईएम तिरुचिरापल्ली में वित्त एवं लेखा क्षेत्र में सहायक प्रोफेसर के रूप में कार्यरत हैं। उन्होंने आईआईएम कोझिकोड से पीएचडी की है और आईआईएम तिरुचिरापल्ली में आने से पहले, उन्होंने आईआईएम अमृतसर और जिंदल ग्लोबल बिजनेस स्कूल में शैक्षणिक पदों पर कार्य किया है।

डॉ. प्रियेश की शोध रुचि लेखांकन के क्षेत्र में है, जिसमें भारतीय फर्मों में वित्तीय रिपोर्टिंग की गुणवत्ता पर विशेष ध्यान दिया गया है। उनके डॉक्टरेट शोध ने इस क्षेत्र का व्यापक अन्वेषण किया है। इस क्षेत्र में उनके योगदान को निम्नलिखित पुरस्कारों से सम्मानित किया गया है:

  • एनएसई–आईजीआईडीआर कॉर्पोरेट गवर्नेंस रिसर्च ग्रांट (2017–18)
  • सर्वश्रेष्ठ पेपर पुरस्कार, पैन-आईआईएम सम्मेलन, आईआईएम बैंगलोर (2018)
  • सर्वश्रेष्ठ पेपर पुरस्कार, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय वित्त एवं लेखा सम्मेलन, आईसीएआई एवं आईआईएम जम्मू (2023)

शैक्षणिक प्रयासों के अतिरिक्त, डॉ. प्रियेश को अपने खाली समय में यात्रा करना और गैर-काल्पनिक साहित्य पढ़ना पसंद है।
