मैं रणनीति, नवाचार और उद्यमिता के संगम पर कार्य करता हूँ तथा शैक्षणिक शोध के साथ-साथ प्रौद्योगिकी, आर&डी और प्रतिस्पर्धात्मक बुद्धिमत्ता में अपने पूर्व अनुभव का उपयोग करता हूँ। आईआईएम तिरुचिरापल्ली में, मैं एमबीए और डॉक्टरेट कार्यक्रमों में रणनीति और उद्यमिता पढ़ाता हूँ, जहाँ मेरा मुख्य ध्यान इस बात पर होता है कि संगठन परिवर्तन के अनुरूप कैसे ढलते हैं, नवाचार क्षमताएँ कैसे विकसित करते हैं और अपनी प्रतिस्पर्धी स्थिति को कैसे नवीनीकृत करते हैं।

मेरा शोध रणनीतिक नवीनीकरण की संस्थागत एवं क्षमता-आधारित नींव की जाँच करता है। मैं यह भी अध्ययन करता हूँ कि उभरते बाज़ारों की बहुराष्ट्रीय कंपनियाँ सीमा-पार पेटेंट मुकदमेबाज़ी (patent-litigation) के जोखिमों का प्रबंधन कैसे करती हैं, संस्थागत अंतर्निहितता उनकी सीएसआर और वित्तीय संरचनाओं को कैसे आकार देती है, कंपनियाँ एफडीआई एंट्री-मोड विकल्पों में अनुकरण या विभेदीकरण कैसे करती हैं, तथा सूक्ष्म-उद्यमी पारिस्थितिकी तंत्र और क्षमता संबंधी बाधाओं से कैसे निपटते हैं।

अकादमिक जगत में आने से पहले, मैंने माइक्रोसॉफ्ट, सैमसंग आर&डी, फोर्ड इंडिया और हेवलेट पैकार्ड लैब्स जैसी प्रौद्योगिकी कंपनियों के साथ कार्य किया। मेरी भूमिकाओं में प्रतिस्पर्धात्मक बुद्धिमत्ता, पेटेंट रणनीति और आर&डी निर्णय समर्थन शामिल थे, साथ ही नवाचार प्रबंधन और परिचालन योजना से जुड़ी परियोजनाएँ भी। मैंने स्टार्टअप्स के साथ मिलकर विकास रणनीतियाँ डिज़ाइन करने और ऐसे परिचालन ढाँचे विकसित करने में भी सहयोग किया है, जो विचारों को स्केलेबल प्रथाओं में परिवर्तित करते हैं।

शोध और शिक्षण के साथ-साथ, मैं रणनीतिक सोच, डिजिटल परिवर्तन और विघटनकारी नवाचार जैसे विषयों पर कार्यकारी शिक्षा और परामर्श कार्यक्रम भी संचालित करता हूँ। इन सहभागिताओं के माध्यम से ऑटोमोटिव, रक्षा, वित्तीय सेवाएँ, विनिर्माण, आईटी और ऊर्जा सहित विभिन्न उद्योगों के 2,000 से अधिक पेशेवरों तक पहुँच बनाई गई है। मैं सार्वजनिक संस्थानों और सामुदायिक पहलों के साथ भी कार्य करता हूँ ताकि उद्यमिता विकास, आजीविका परिवर्तन तथा सूक्ष्म और लघु व्यवसायों के लिए क्षमता निर्माण को समर्थन दिया जा सके।

मेरे प्रशासनिक अनुभव में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय प्रत्यायन (AMBA प्रत्यायन एवं पुनः प्रत्यायन, तथा वर्तमान में AACSB प्रत्यायन का नेतृत्व), एमबीए कार्यक्रम नेतृत्व (कार्यकारी एमबीए नामांकन में उल्लेखनीय वृद्धि), तथा पाठ्यक्रम डिज़ाइन और नवाचार शामिल हैं।

मेरा उद्देश्य शोध और व्यवहार को इस प्रकार जोड़ना है कि व्यक्ति और संगठन जटिल परिवेशों में अधिक स्पष्ट और प्रभावी रणनीतिक निर्णय ले सकें।

तमिलनाडु शहरी आजीविका मिशन (टीएनयूएलएम) और तमिलनाडु ग्रामीण परिवर्तन कार्यक्रम (टीएनआरटीपी) के हिस्से के रूप में, मैंने स्थानीय भाषा में कृषि-व्यवसाय, खाद्य प्रसंस्करण और खुदरा व्यापार क्षेत्रों का प्रतिनिधित्व करने वाले सूक्ष्म उद्यमियों, स्वयं सहायता समूहों और उद्यमशीलता सहायता संगठनों के लिए विचारोत्तेजन, अवसर पहचान, व्यवसाय मॉडल डिजाइन, व्यवसाय योजना निर्माण और विकास रणनीतियों पर कार्यशालाएं आयोजित की हैं।

राष्ट्रीय सूक्ष्म, लघु और मध्यम उद्यम संस्थान (नी-एमएसएमई) के साथ साझेदारी में, मैंने घरेलू व्यापार के लिए व्यवसायों को शुरू करने और बढ़ाने से संबंधित विभिन्न विषयों पर 60 एससी/एसटी उद्यमियों को प्रशिक्षित किया है।

वाणिज्य और उद्योग मंडल (सीसीआई) तंजावुर के लिए, मैंने ‘एसएमई के लिए विकास रणनीतियाँ’ विषय पर 50 उद्यमियों को प्रशिक्षित किया है।

संकाय विकास और क्षमता निर्माण कार्यक्रम

मैंने तकनीकी शिक्षा गुणवत्ता सुधार कार्यक्रम (टीईक्यूआईपी) के हिस्से के रूप में कुलपतियों, प्रधानाचार्यों और वरिष्ठ शैक्षणिक प्रशासकों को रणनीति, नवाचार, ऊष्मायन और उद्यमिता पर कई सत्र संचालित किए हैं।

मैंने ‘सामरिक योजना’ पर शैक्षणिक सामग्री का योगदान किया है – अग्रणी शैक्षणिक और प्रबंधकीय दक्षता (एलएएमपी) पहल – राष्ट्रमंडल शिक्षा के लिए विश्वविद्यालयों को बदलने पर एक कार्यक्रम।

परामर्श कार्य

भारतीय मानव बस्ती संस्थान (आईआईएचएस) के सहयोग से, मैंने तिरुचिरापल्ली शहर में स्वच्छता कार्यकर्ताओं के पुनर्वास के लिए एक पायलट परियोजना पूरी की, जिसमें उन्हें ग्रे-कॉलर नौकरियों और उद्यमिता में धकेला गया।

मैंने भारतीय दार्शनिक अनुसंधान परिषद (आईसीपीआर) द्वारा प्रायोजित एक परियोजना के लिए, संस्कृति फाउंडेशन, मैसूर के लिए ‘विशिष्टद्वैत दर्शन का साहित्यिक इतिहास’ के दो खंडों का समन्वय और संपादन किया है।
