डॉ. अभिषेक कुमार तोतावार आईआईएम त्रिची में संगठनात्मक व्यवहार के एसोसिएट प्रोफेसर हैं।
वह एमबीए और एग्जीक्यूटिव एमबीए कार्यक्रमों के छात्रों और अधिकारियों को संगठनात्मक व्यवहार की बारीकियाँ तथा नेतृत्व, संस्कृति और परिवर्तन प्रबंधन के विभिन्न पहलुओं की शिक्षा देते हैं। उनके पाठ्यक्रमों में सूक्ष्म संगठनात्मक व्यवहार (एमआईओबी: एमबीए प्रथम वर्ष का मुख्य पाठ्यक्रम) और अग्रणी संगठनात्मक परिवर्तन (एमएलओसी: एमबीए द्वितीय वर्ष का वैकल्पिक पाठ्यक्रम) शामिल हैं। वह कार्यरत अधिकारियों के लिए रणनीतिक मानव संसाधन प्रबंधन (एसएचआरएम) पर आईआईएम त्रिची के ई-लर्निंग कार्यक्रम का भी नेतृत्व करते हैं।
अभिषेक का शोध संगठनात्मक न्याय, नेतृत्व, संस्कृति और संगठनात्मक परिवर्तन पर केंद्रित है। उन्होंने अपना शोध प्रबंधन अकादमी (एओएम), यूरोपीय संगठन अध्ययन समूह (ईजीओएस), अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मनोविज्ञान कांग्रेस (आईसीपी) और यूरोपीय मनोविज्ञान कांग्रेस (ईसीपी) में प्रस्तुत किया है तथा बाद में ह्यूमन रिसोर्स डेवलपमेंट रिव्यू, मेज़रिंग बिज़नेस एक्सीलेंस, साउथ एशियन जर्नल ऑफ़ मैनेजमेंट, डेवलपमेंट एंड लर्निंग इन ऑर्गनाइज़ेशन्स और एविडेंस-बेस्ड एचआरएम: ए ग्लोबल फ़ोरम फ़ॉर एम्पिरिकल स्कॉलरशिप जैसी अंतरराष्ट्रीय समकक्ष-समीक्षित पत्रिकाओं में प्रकाशित हुए हैं। उन्होंने आईवी पब्लिकेशंस, हार्वर्ड बिज़नेस स्कूल पब्लिशिंग, केस सेंटर और केस रिसर्च जर्नल (नॉर्थ अमेरिकन केस रिसर्च एसोसिएशन) में सूचीबद्ध केस स्टडीज़ भी प्रकाशित की हैं।
उन्होंने एलएंडटी लिमिटेड, इंडियन ऑयल कॉर्पोरेशन लिमिटेड, टैफे लिमिटेड, वीडार्ट इंक., एनएलसी इंडिया लिमिटेड, चेन्नई पेट्रोलियम कॉर्पोरेशन लिमिटेड, ओमेगा हेल्थकेयर, मन्नापुरम फाइनेंस, यूडीएस लिमिटेड, मझगांव डॉक शिपबिल्डर्स लिमिटेड, डाटामैटिक्स लिमिटेड, रोका इंडिया लिमिटेड, नोवो नॉर्डिस्क इंडिया प्राइवेट लिमिटेड, एपी कोऑपरेटिव बैंक, सर्वियर लैबोरेटरीज, तेलंगाना स्टेट को-ऑपरेटिव एपेक्स बैंक लिमिटेड, एचएल मंडो, वेरिटास फाइनेंस, भारतीय मानक ब्यूरो और पेट्रोनेट एलएनजी के मध्यम एवं वरिष्ठ अधिकारियों के लिए नेतृत्व और संगठनात्मक परिवर्तन से जुड़े सत्रों/कार्यक्रमों का संचालन किया है।
अभिषेक ने बीएचयू (बनारस हिंदू विश्वविद्यालय) से मनोविज्ञान में एमए तथा भारतीय प्रबंधन संस्थान इंदौर (आईआईएम इंदौर) से प्रबंधन में पीएचडी की उपाधि प्राप्त की है। उन्होंने हार्वर्ड बिज़नेस स्कूल, बोस्टन में प्रतिभागी-केंद्रित शिक्षण कार्यक्रम (कार्यकारी शिक्षा) में भी भाग लिया है।
