OpenMDPs of IIM Tiruchirappalli is to equip working executives and practicing managers with the necessary skill sets and capabilities to fathom the macro and micro environment of business. Faculty members design modules to ensure that executives get a very rich peer learning experience where they understand best practices from different industries and at the same time critically analyze the possibilities and modalities of applying them in their own organizations. The duration of the OMDP could be 3 or 5 days. The programme could be offered in physical or online mode.
The primary objective of OMDPs is to establish a connection with the industry by the faculty to offer training to the executives in order to enhance the knowledge and developing their skill sets.
