Brief profile

I am first year executive doctoral student in Information systems and Analytics area at Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli. An alumnus of IIMB and BITS Pilani with over 20 years of experience in leading development organisations, delivering products in order management and supply-chain area with strong technical skills. I am currently overseeing client engagements and lending product building expertise as Associate partner at Acuver consulting private limited. I also consult for Indian Institute of Management Bangalore – Data Centre Analytics Lab (IIMB-DCAL). I have been teaching business analytics courses as adjunct faculty at IIMB. I am co-authoring a book on “Data Visualization and Storytelling” and have co-authored a Harvard Business Publishing case study on Fantasy sports: A game of Skill or Chance.

Research interest

My consulting projects has provided me a platform to research and solve interesting and intriguing applications of data science. Exposure into these challenging data projects has made me keen on pursuing research in the field of Analytics and data science.

Work Experience

Prior to Acuver consulting, I have worked with Walmart India, Tesco, Future Group, IBM sterling commerce and Wipro. As a seasoned analytics executive I have significant hands-on and leadership experience in building business models with understanding of the digital technology landscape. I am a data enthusiast who brings product leadership to the table by balancing knowledge and experience of the data science and software engineering.  I have a successful track record in delivering software products in small, mid-size and global companies alike.
