Dr. Rashmi Ranjan Behera is an Assistant Professor in the General Management area at the Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli, where he teaches Business Communication.
His research interests include communication, media, culture, social relationships, happiness, sustainability, and wellbeing.
He is currently serving as Co-Investigator on an ICSSR-funded research project on the Mankadia tribe of Odisha and has previously successfully completed a study on teacher wellbeing supported by ABV-IIITM Gwalior.
Before joining IIM Tiruchirappalli, Dr. Behera served as an Assistant Professor at Atal Bihari Vajpayee–Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management (an Institute of National Importance).
He has also held academic positions with the Department of Higher Education, Government of Odisha, the National Institute of Technology Calicut, and KIIT University, Bhubaneswar.
Dr. Behera has presented his research at several national and international conferences and seminars.
He serves as a reviewer and associate editor for academic journals published by Elsevier, Springer, and Frontiers.
His research has appeared in peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes published by Springer, Sage, Frontiers, and Intellect Press.
