SUMMARY
Narendra Nath Kushwaha is a doctoral candidate in the Finance and Accounting Area at Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Tiruchirappalli. His dissertation titled, “Three Essays on Related Party Transactions in India” examines the effect of several corporate governance mechanisms on related party transactions (RPTs) in Indian firms. One of his research paper has been awarded the research grant by NSE-IGIDR Corporate Governance Research Initiative 2017-18. As a requirement for this research funding, he has presented his research work at the NSE-IGIDR Conference on Corporate Governance-2018. He has also published a teaching case (along with the teaching note) with Ivey Publishing. After receiving an MBA in 2014 from Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Allahabad, he worked at Bank of New York Mellon India till 2015. His current research interests are in the area of corporate finance and corporate governance in emerging economies.
