International Week

The Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli is organizing International Week from 30th December 2019 to 05th January 2020.

The International Week is a platform where well-renowned faculty members from universities abroad offer one-credit niche elective courses to our second year students of Post Graduate Programme in Management (MBA). The course will have about 10 hours of classroom contact hours with two sessions of 90 minutes each in a day for three consecutive days followed by 60 minutes of end of course evaluation. IIM Tiruchirappalli shall be reimbursing your travel and other incidental expenses to the maximum limit of Rs.80,000/- (in lieu of honorarium) for teaching the elective and shall take care of your local conveyance, boarding and lodging during the three days of teaching at Tiruchirappalli. In case you land in India and you seek domestic travel assistance to travel to Tiruchirappalli, we would be happy to absorb it subject to a maximum limit of Rs.20,000/-.

Interested faculty members could fill the course outline template and send it to us on before 15th June 2019. The course outline will be shared with the students and the courses meeting the minimum subscription requirement of 15 students will be offered during the International Week.

IIM Trichy has state-of-the-art classrooms with facilities that can match any world-class institution. IIM Trichy also provides excellent academic support in scheduling the classes and coordinating with the students. There are no teaching assistant facilities at IIM Trichy. The evaluation has to be completed by the course instructor. This being the case, if you wish to set a maximum number of students attending your course, you are free to do so and might indicate it as part of your course outline itself.

We look forward to hearing from you at the earliest. In the meanwhile, if you need any clarifications relating to your offering of the course as part of the International Week, kindly feel free to revert to us on the email ID, and we would be happy to assist you.

With warm regards,
Dr. Nithyananda.
