Dr. Gajanand holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the College of Engineering Guindy, Anna University, Chennai and a Ph.D. from the Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology Madras. He worked for Ernst and Young Global Shared Services, Bangalore before joining the Ph.D. programme. He has publications in reputed International Journals – such as Transport Reviews, International Journal of Production Research, International Journal of Logistics Research and Applications, and International Journal of Operational Research – and has presented his research work in various leading International Conferences. He is one among the editors of the book titled “Sustainable Operations in India”, published by Springer International. He is a Lifetime Member of the Operational Research Society of India (ORSI) and the Society of Operations Management (SOM).
