Sivakumar S has an under-graduation degree in mechanical engineering from NIT, Trichy and a PG Diploma in Management from IIM, Bangalore. He is a doctoral Fellow in Production and Operations Management from IIM, Bangalore. Prior to joining IIM Trichy, he served as Assistant Professor in MYRA Business School, Mysore for a period of 8 months. 

He has an industry work experience of 14 years with Wipro Technologies including 7 years of international experience in Europe and USA. During his tenure with Wipro he played diverse roles including software delivery, project management, account management, mining sales, domain competency development, and corporate training.

His consulting experience includes creating an integration solution for IT landscape and revenue management policies for a large M&A deal involving two global information service providers. He also served as process consultant for Re-engineering and IT transformation programs for a large UK bank and a global information services firm. He has also been the lead consultant for several multi-million $ total outsourcing deals in the IT/BPM space.

  • Winner Chairman’s Best Organizational Process Change Award in 1999 for devising a statistical formula for measuring Quality Index of a Project.
  • Participated as Functional Area Representative (Project Manager) in SEI-CMM Quality Assessment of 1998 when Wipro Systems became World’s 1st IT services firm to win Level-5 certification.
