Dr. Deepak K. Srivastava is a Professor at the Indian Institute of
Management (IIM), Tiruchirappalli. Earlier he was a Professor at Institute of
Management, Nirma University, Ahmedabad. He has more than eighteen years of
academic experience. Dr. Srivastava has held visiting teaching and research
assignments at various foreign universities such as Universidad Panamericana,
Mexico City (Mexico); School of Business, Tecnologico De Monterrey, Campus
Estado de Mexico (Mexico); Coggin College of Business, University of North
Florida, Jacksonville (USA); Szechenyi Istvan University, Gyor (Hungary);
Corvinus University, Budapest (Hungary); University of Economics in Bratislava
(Slovak) and Turku University, Turku (Finland).
Dr. Srivastava is a co-author of South Asian adaptation of the Global
Business textbook with Prof. Mike W. Peng, The University of Texas at Dallas,
USA (Global Business, 2e by Peng and Srivastava, Cengage Learning, 2019). He
has published many research articles in journals ranked by Australian Business
Deans Council (ABDC) and Chartered Association of Business Schools (CABS).
Dr. Srivastava has been a member of the expert committees of the
National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC); State Public Service
Commission; Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) and
University Grants Commission (UGC). He has been a member of faculty selection
committees of IIM and universities. Dr. Srivastava has served in the
Academic Council and Board of many organizations.
He has conducted several Management Development Programs (MDPs) and
Faculty Development Programs (FDPs). Dr. Srivastava organized and
directed a development programme for the Vice-Chancellors as a part of
University Grants Commission (UGC) initiative to redefine the role of
universities in the era of industry- 4.0.
A recipient of national and international grants and fellowship, Dr.
Srivastava has served on the editorial boards of many academic journals and
acted as a reviewer of the annual conferences of the Academy of International
Business. He also writes for leading newspapers on policy-related issues. His
research interest includes internationalization of SMEs and MNEs.
